Book: The Woman in the Window by A. J Finn
If you like Gone Girl, you’re going to love this book. This is really one of those books that hooks and holds on to you from the first page flip to the last—and I couldn’t flip them fast enough!
Beautifully written and crafted, this novel from A. J Finn is thrilling and surprising, and will leave you questioning even your own judgement.

The second season of Slow Burn is just kicking off and covers the “saga of the Bill Clinton impeachment.” Focusing on the untold stories and overlooked or forgotten characters, this podcast takes you through the infamous scandal from a different angle.

I know it’s been out for a while now, but the soundtrack of Big Little Lies, the popular HBO show, is so good. Featuring a range of artists, eras, and genres, this soundtrack is easy listening with a hit of nostalgia. I listen to this on Spotify!
What I’m lovin’ in my kitchen:
Here’s the thing, handheld spiralizers are wonderful in theory. They’re small, easy to store, and seem pretty convenient. Until you actually try to use it. Nothing frustrates me more than when a kitchen gadget makes cooking harder instead of easier.
So when it comes to spiralizers, I choose to pay a little more and make room in my cupboards for something that’s reliable and easy to use. My go-to is the Paderno, it works like a dream! I’ve been using it a lot lately since we have more zucchini than we know what to do with.
What I’m snacking on:
We have a good sized raised garden in our backyard and it’s exploding with veggies right now. Our tomato and pepper plants are producing so much, we simply can’t keep up!
Aside from making BLTs (complete with an egg or sliced avocado), I’ve been enjoying our homegrown tomatoes as a snack themselves. Packed with so much flavor, they don’t need much more than a sprinkling of salt, however, fresh basil is always a welcome addition.
Not into eating tomatoes on their own? I love adding them to bulky grain salads like this Herbed Kale & Sorghum Salad. So good!
