  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar, depending on preference
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 red onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except onions in a small saucepan. Heat until sugar and salt have dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and pour over onions. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
