STEP 1

combine dry ingredients in a bowl and combine wet ingredients in a food processor

STEP 2

pulse wet ingredients and corn until combined

STEP 3

add wet ingredients to dry ingredients

mix to combine

don't over mix—some pockets of flour is OK

STEP 5

add oil to preheated cast-iron skillet

STEP 6

pour batter into hot oiled skillet

it will sizzle!

smooth top and bake until golden!

brush warm honey over cornbread

STEP 9

and sprinkle with flaky sea salt
