NUTELLA

6 ingredients &  naturally sweetened!

hazelnuts

pure vanilla extract

pure almond extract (optional)

kosher salt

semi-sweet chocolate

ingredients needed:

coconut oil, hazelnut oil, or olive oil

honey

pulse then blend toasted and skinned hazelnuts in a high-powered blender until mostly smooth.

STEP 1

add vanilla, salt and almond extract (if using). 

STEP 2

melt chocolate and oil together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.

STEP 3

add melted chocolate to nut butter and blend until combined.

STEP 4

add just a splash of honey and mix to combine. If too much honey is used the mixture will stiffen.

STEP 5

if you prefer a sweeter nutella, use milk chocolate or add some coconut sugar or confectioners'  sugar.

store nutella in a clean glass jar in the refrigerator. It will stiffen as it chills, so let it sit out for a few hours or pop it in the microwave for a minute or so to soften and loosen before enjoying. 

enjoy on crackers, toast, fruit, ice cream and more!
