SALSA VERDE CHICKEN

STEP 1

pound chicken breasts to an even 1/2-inch thickness

STEP 2

lightly season chicken breasts and thighs. measure out spices, garlic, jalapeño, and salsa.

STEP 3

add chicken to Instant Pot

STEP 4

add salsa verde

STEP 5

add garlic and jalapeño

STEP 6

add cumin, dried oregano and onion powder

STEP 7

stir to combine, cover, lock lid, and cook

saucy, cooked chicken!

STEP 8

transfer chicken to a plate and shred...

into tasty bite-sized pieces

return chicken to pot

add scallions and cilantro

mix and season to taste with salt

serve in tortillas
