how to make
NO-CHURN CHERRY ICE CREAM
sweet, creamy and absolutely stunning—this easy no-churn ice cream is a fun way to use up the last of summer cherries!
pit the fresh cherries. (If you don't have fresh cherries, feel free to use frozen!)
cook down the cherries and honey until jammy. Let the mixture cool completely—you can pop it in the freezer to quicken the process.
whip the heavy cream until nearly stiff peaks form.
add a scoop of whipped cream to the sweetened condensed milk...
and gently fold into sweetened condensed milk.
continue folding whipped cream into sweetened condensed milk in increments...
until it's luscious and all combined!
add the cooled cherry mixture to the whipped cream mixture.
gently fold in—don't combine completely, some streaks are ideal.
transfer ice cream base to a parchment-lined loaf pan or freezer pint containers.
dollop reserved cherry mixture over top of ice cream base. Using a skewer or toothpick, swirl into ice cream base.
freeze until solid—about 8 hours—then dig in!
