NO-CHURN CHERRY ICE CREAM

sweet, creamy and absolutely stunning—this easy no-churn ice cream is a fun way to use up the last of summer cherries!

pit the fresh cherries. (If you don't have fresh cherries, feel  free to use frozen!)

STEP 1

cook down the cherries and  honey until jammy. Let the mixture cool completely—you can pop it in the freezer to quicken the process. 

STEP 2

whip the heavy cream until  nearly stiff peaks form.

STEP 3

add a scoop of whipped cream to the sweetened condensed milk...

STEP 4

and gently fold into sweetened condensed milk.

STEP 5

continue folding whipped cream into sweetened condensed milk in increments...

STEP 6

until it's luscious and all combined!

STEP 7

add the cooled cherry mixture to the whipped cream mixture.

STEP 8

gently fold in—don't combine completely, some streaks are ideal.

STEP 9

transfer ice cream base to a parchment-lined loaf pan or freezer pint containers.

STEP 10

dollop reserved cherry mixture over top of ice cream base. Using a skewer or toothpick, swirl into ice cream base.

STEP 11

freeze until solid—about 8 hours—then dig in!
