gluten-free Cornbread

how to make (really good)

Moist, tender, flavorful—all things a good cornbread should be.  Oh! And easy to make. Let's make this healthy gluten-free cornbread! 

combine the dry ingredients. 

STEP 1

then blend together the fresh sweet corn and wet ingredients.

combine the wet and dry ingredients. Some pockets of dry flour are OK, but mix a bit more than this. 

STEP 2

preheat a cast-iron skillet in the oven. Add oil and swirl to coat.  Pour batter into the skillet and smooth the top. Bake until golden brown.

STEP 3

remove the (gorgeous) cornbread from  the oven and immediately brush  with warm honey.

STEP 4

sprinkle with flaky sea salt (sound fussy? it makes the bread!) and let cool.

STEP 5

serve up a piece of  cornbread and drizzle some  honey over top. Get ready—this cornbread is outrageous.
