Substitute any of first four ingredients at a 1:1 ratio with sour cream.
If substituting with buttermilk, start with ⅔ cup and add more as needed.
Notes
If the recipe you're using calls for regular sour cream, make sure you substitute with a whole milk (full fat) alternative. If the recipe calls for low-fat sour cream, you can substitute with a low-fat alternative.
