Store any leftover salad (preferably not dressed) in an airtight container in the fridge for one to two days. To make this in advance, you can assemble the salad ingredients in the large tossing bowl and store covered in the fridge for up to 6 hours before a party or event. Add the dressing and toss to coat.If you want to keep the salad fresher for even longer, then store the toppings separately from the lettuce and assemble everything right before eating.
