This raspberry cocktail is inspired by the Nobile Cocktail—a vodka cocktail made with Italian bitter liqueur (Aperol or Campari), fresh raspberries, some limoncello and orange juice. And while I steer clear of orange juice, this recipe does tread pretty closely to the classic drink. With the additional factor of being frozen. Without further ado, let’s dive in.

Ingredients for Raspberry Cocktail

  • Fresh Raspberries
  • Fresh Basil
  • Aperol (or Campari if you prefer drinks on the more bitter side)
  • Limoncello (Pallini is the best)
  • Vodka (tequila would also be great)
  • Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Ice (you’ll need a specific amount of ice cubes for this drink!)

How to Make This Raspberry Cocktail

Step 1: Add all of the cocktail ingredients to a high-powered blender (either a full-size blender or an individual-serving blender will work). Blend until the mixture is smooth.

Note: if you don’t like seeds in your drinks, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve at this step, then pour the drink back into the blender.

Step 2: Add 10 ice cubes to the blender and blend on high until smooth and thick.

Step 3: Pour into a collins glass and garnish with a raspberry and lemon twist.
